Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner submitted a representation on 30.04.2012 with regard to mutation of revenue record in respect of Survey No.3/2 of Village No.29, Srinivasanallur Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thiruvidaimaruthur Registration District, Thanjavur District. The petitioner was submitted during grievance redressal day before the District Collector. Enquiry was conducted. The Tahsildar, Kumbakonam had given his inputs vide communication by Na.Ka.No.5823-2012-M8 dated 04.09.2012. However, final order has not been passed till date.

3. The second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry in the matter and pass final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
