Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2021 and direct the first respondent to recover the medical claim of Rs.91,942/- from the second respondent payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.08.2021. 2.The petitioner is a member of the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2016 and with reference to the treatment underwent, a representation is submitted to the respondents. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent / Insurance Company made a submission that the petitioner has to approach the District Level Empowered Committee for the purpose of considering the claim.

4.The District Level Empowered Committee is headed by the District Collector. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to submit a fresh application in a prescribed format along with medical records and other documents through proper channel to the District Level Empowered Committee and on receipt of any such application, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.21234 of 2021 the same may be considered and decided on merits by the District Level Empowered Committee as expeditiously as possible. 5.With this liberty, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
