ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to consider the writ petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2024 and to grant permission to conduct Vinayagar Chaturthi festival from 07.09.2024 to 09.09.2024 with speaker box installed and consequently direct the respondents to provide protection for procession of Vinayagar Idol to immerse the idol in the river bed.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police have not received any representation from the writ petitioner so far.

4. Considering the above, the writ petitioner is directed to give a representation to the second respondent today itself and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation and pass orders on or before 06.09.2024.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
