ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Contempt Petition complaining that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.17143 of 2023 dated 1/5

31.07.2023 has not been complied with.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking a Mandamus, directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner as a Guardian/Curator of Ms.A.R.Chandra and to manage her properties by considering his application filed under Section 14(1) of the National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Act, 1999, r/w. Rule 16 of the National Trust for Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities Rules 2000.

This Court, by its order dated 31.07.2023, disposed of the writ petition with a direction to the District Collector, Virduhunagar, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.03.2023, in the light of the decision of this Court in G.Babu vs. District Collector, Madurai and others (W.P.(MD)No.18042 of 2022, dated 24.01.2023). Now, this Contempt Petition has been filed that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.17143 of 2023 dated 31.07.2023 has not been complied with.

4. When this Contempt Petition was taken up for hearing on 25.10.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Thereafter, this contempt petition is listed today. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate, based on the written instructions provided to him, submits that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.17143 of 2023 dated 31.07.2023 has been complied with and the petitioner has been appointed as a Guardian for Ms.A.R.Chandra, on 13.11.2024. The proceedings dated 13.11.2024 is also placed before this Court.
