ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent police to grant the permission to conduct Krishna Jeyanthi celebrations on 06.09.2023 at K.Boothangudi, Perumal Kovil Street, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that the villagers have been conducting the Krishna Jeyanthi festival every year at K.Boothangudi, Perumal Kovil Street, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and in respect of the same, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 14.08.2023 seeking permission of the respondent police, but there was no action. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) after taking instructions from the concerned police has reported that the respondent police have no objection to grant the permission to the petitioner for conducting the Krishna Jeyanthi festival on 06.09.2023 at K.Boothangudi, Perumal Kovil Street, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.
