This petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus, to direct the first respondent to take appropriate action against the third respondent for abusing his power and pay reasonable amount of compensation to the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a death certificate certifying that the petitioner had died on 19.01.2023.

3. In view of the same, this writ petition stands dismissed as abated. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
