PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2025 and consequently directing the fifth and sixth respondents to restrain from interfering in the administration of the Arulmigu Sri Pidariamman Kovil, Sri Mariyamman Temple, Sri Eagambara Eswari Temple, Sri Karrupanaswamy Temple, Sivayam South, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District and to dispose the same within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents 2 & 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2025 and consequently directing the fifth and sixth respondents to restrain from interfering in the administration of the Arulmigu Sri Pidariamman Kovil, Sri Mariyamman Temple, Sri Eagambara Eswari Temple, Sri Karrupanaswamy Temple, Sivayam South, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District and to dispose the same. 2/5

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the respondents 5 & 6 are illegally collecting money from the devotees visiting the temples. The petitioner has given a representation to the official respondents.

3. Any such complaint is received must be looked into by the competent authority for initiation of action under HR & CE Act and Rules since the petitioner has raised an allegations against the respondents 5 & 6.

4. The second respondent / the Joint Commissioner is directed to look into the representation of the petitioner dated 17.07.2025 and conduct an enquiry by affording an opportunity to all the parties and take appropriate action, if necessary, under the provisions of the HR & CE Act and Rules.
