JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) W.P(MD)No.7084 of 2025 had been filed by Indirani seeking a Mandamus directing the Tahsildar, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District, to carry out corrections in the revenue records pertaining to the land in Survey No.55/1A1A, admeasuring 20 cents situated at Keezhkottai Village, Aathur Taluk, Dindigul District (property/property in question). 2.After hearing the writ petitioner and official respondents, the Writ Petition came to be disposed on 17.03.2025, with a direction to the authorities to pass final orders on the writ petitioner's application dated 16.10.2024 taking into account the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dindigul District. The Court stated that the exercise shall be completed within four weeks.

3.In the meantime, one C.Saravanan, who was also aggrieved by order dated 21.06.2024, had filed an appeal before the District Revenue Officer, Dindigul District, on 18.07.2024, challenging the very same order where Indrani had been arrayed as a party. Since C.Saravanan was not a party in W.P(MD)No.7084 of 2025, the impugned order came to be passed on 17.03.2025 without reference to the pending appeal. Consequently, leave was sought by C.Saravanan and hence the present Writ Appeal is coming up before us.

4.Mr.D.Saravanan, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/writ petitioner would submit that pending the present proceedings, summons were issued to the first respondent by the District Revenue Officer on 18.08.2025. He further submitted that in light of the pending appeal, the directions set out in order dated 17.03.2025 are not feasible of compliance and in fact, it would not be appropriate to do so. This is recorded.

5.Since notice has now been issued to all the parties by the District Revenue Officer, let the appeal filed by the appellant on 18.07.2024, be disposed of within a period of twelve (12) weeks from today, after hearing all the parties and in accordance with law. 6.This Writ Appeal is disposed of in the above terms.
