PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the show cause notice dated 05.09.2022 in Na.Ka.No.35/2022 issued by the third respondent to the petitioner and to quash the same and consequently to forbear the respondents from in any way insisting upon the petitioner for a license to be taken for purchase and sale of Arecanut within Dindigul Regulated Market under the Provisions of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987. This writ petition is filed as against the show cause notice issued by the third respondent on 05.09.2022, directing the petitioner to obtain license under Section 8(1) of Tamil nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987 and to pay the appropriate market fee under Section 24 of the Act. 2/5

2.Today(24.08.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
