PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondent Nos.1 and 2 from insisting upon the No objection certificate from the respondent No.3 for registration of the petitioners lands in S.No.843/7 to an extent of 7 Acres in Rameswaram Village, Rameswaram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and consequently, to direct the respondent No.2 to register the Document presented by the petitioner for registration pertaining to the aforesaid land within the time frame stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the respondents 1 and 2 from insisting upon the No objection certificate from the 3rd respondent for registration of the petitioners lands in S.No.843/7 to an extent of 7 Acres in Rameswaram Village, Rameswaram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District and consequently, to direct the respondent No.2 to register the Document presented by the petitioner for registration pertaining to the aforesaid land within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 2/5
2.The contention of the petitioner is that the land belongs to him. However, the 4th respondent is claiming title over the property. 3.When it is a temple land, the 2nd respondent is bound to conduct enquiry by calling the petitioner as well as temple for enquiry and then pass orders as per the order passed in the case of Sudha Ravi Kumar and Another Vs. The Special Commissioner and Others in W.P.Nos.30589 of 2013 and batch, dated 05.04.2017.
4.Therefore, the official respondents are directed to conduct an enquiry and pass orders in accordance to law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
