Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents No.1 to 4 to conduct special audit and to claim the loss occurred to the Government by considering the representation dated 05.10.2021 and also in the light of the recommendations made by the University Grants Commission dated 28.10.2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the petitioner's complaint made before the University Grants Commission was duly forwarded to the Directorate of Collegiate Education in proceedings dated 28.10.2021. Though the University Grants Commission forwarded the complaint for taking necessary action and provide intimation to the University Grants Commission, the respondents have not initiated any action.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the non conduct of audit has affected the service rights of the petitioner. However, the authorities have to look into all these aspects and if necessary by conducting an audit in the 5th respondent College.

3. In view of the fact that University Grants Commission forwarded the complaints to the authorities for initiating appropriate action, the respondents are directed to look into the complaint and initiate all appropriate action in the manner known to law, if necessary by conducting an appropriate enquiry.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
