ORDER
The petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the Impugned Order passed by the first respondent vide his Proceedings in O.Mu.(Aa 1) 2158/ 2022 dated 08.09.2022 and quash the same as illegal and direct the first Respondent to issue Destitute Widow certificate to the Petitioner 2.Heard Mr.D.Senthil, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Gandhiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has applied for package house before the President, Pazhankottai Panchayat and she was selected as one of the beneficiaries. Whileso, the petitioner's husband died on 05.08.2021 due to heart attack and after the death of her husband there is no support from her parents and her husband's parents as their marriage was love marriage. In the mean time, the petitioner has applied for death certificate and other related certificates and obtained the same. Thereafter she made an application on 23.09.2021 for issuance of destitute widow certificate before the first 2/5
respondent. After receipt of the same, the second respondent called for report regarding her financial position and also conducted enquiry in her village. Thereafter the first respondent passed order dated 08.09.2022 rejecting her application for destitute widow certificate, hence the petitioner filed this present petition.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents/authorities would submit that though the application of the petitioner was rejected considering the plight of the petitioner, the respondents shall once again consider the case of the petitioner and pass orders in accordance with law.

The State Government of Tamil Nadu is issuing destitute widow certificate for the women who lost their husband at their young age without having any support from the family members and to enable them to get employment on confessional basis. Further in this case the petitioner where is living is the house build under the subsidy scheme given by the Government and there is nobody to support her.

In view of the same, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner by making a field visit of her house and take into consideration the non support of the family members and pass appropriate orders on her request for issuance destitute widow certificate sympathetically. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order 7.This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
