This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of a complaint allegedly given by the fourth respondent. 1/4

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there are matrimonial disputes between the petitioner and the third respondent, wherein, the petitioner has been alleging that respondent No.3 has developed intimacy with respondent No.4 and basing on a complaint given by respondent No.4, the petitioner is harassing the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the complaint given by the respondent No.4 has been numbered as C.S.R.No.395 of 2023 and enquiry is being initiated. Since the dispute is matrimonial in nature, the respondent Police would complete the enquiry shortly and if there is no cognizable offence is made out, they will close the complaint. The same is recorded.

4. Considering the submissions made by both sides and on perusal of records, this petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.395 of 2023 as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 11.09.2023 NCC:yes/no Index:yes/no Internet:yes/no tsg 2/4
