O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2022 from the file of the second Respondent to the file of the third Respondent.

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner invited the attention of this Court to the contents of the First Information Report.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor by way of reply submitted that the second Respondent had conducted investigation fairly and had examined six witnesses. The First Information Report was registered on 23.07.2022. The total amount involved in this case is Rs.20,50,000/-

4. Recording the objection made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first Respondent/Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District is directed to supervise the investigation conducted by the second Respondent by nominating the senior officer not below the rank of the 2/4

Deputy Superintendent of Police and file a final report within the specified time of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
