ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the representation dated 02.09.2024 made by the petitioner to the respondents 1 and 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court in W.M.P.(MD)No.15078 of 2024 in W.P.(MD)No.17533 of 2024 has granted interim injunction on 30.07.2024 restraining the revenue officials from putting up the fencing stones in the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.462/2 to an extent of 1.95.5 ares at Shenbagampettai Village, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District pending disposal of the main writ petition and that the petitioner has given a representation on 02.09.2024 stating that the private respondents have attempted to violate the injunction order and caused intimidation. 2/4

3. As rightly pointed out by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), though the representation was given on 02.09.2024, the present petition came to be filed on 03.09.2024. Whatever it is, since this Court has granted temporary injunction, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the parties concerned and consider the petitioner's representation and take a decision within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
