PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation, dated 1.7.2025 and to pass appropriate orders assigning the land in S.No.113/43, Pallapatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk,Dindigul District measuring 48 sq.mtr in Petitioner's favour within the time frame fixed by this court. The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation, dated 1.7.2025 and pass appropriate orders assigning the land in S.No. 113/43, Pallapatti Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District. 2.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.No.113/42. Along with the said property, he has been enjoying the property of the Government in S.No.113/43. Based on his long possession, he submitted a representation, dated 1.7.2025 seeking assignment of the above said Government land to him. The same has not been considered so far. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 1.7.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, affording reasonable opportunity to the Petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
