ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection for life and limb of the petitioner and his family members based on the representation dated 26.08.2024.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner and the private respondents are claiming ownership over the property in dispute and that on the basis of the complaint given by both the parties, CSR Nos.522 and 549 of 2024 came to be registered and since there existed serious issues between the parties, the complaints were referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kumbakonam for enquiry and are pending before the Revenue Divisional Officer.

3. Recording the same, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kumbakonam is directed to convene a meeting by giving notice to the 2/4

petitioner as well as to the private respondents and conduct enquiry and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
