2. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondent to expedite the disposal of the petitioner's petition dated 01.04.2025.

3. Although the petitioner has not impleaded the parties to the proceedings before the respondent under Section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 01.04.2025, after due notice to the petitioner and other persons, who are likely to be affected by the order to be passed. This exercise shall be completed by the respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
