PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.60 of 2016 from the file of the 4th respondent to second respondent, consequently directing the second respondent to nominate competent police officer to complete the investigation of the case and to file a final report before the competent Court within the time stipulated by this Court. 1/3

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.60 of 2016 from the file of the 4th respondent to the file of the second respondent and to complete the investigation of the case and to file a final report.

2.It is seen that on registration of FIR in Crime No.60 of 2016, the fourth respondent has completed the investigation and filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Nagercoil on 23.02.2019 and it is pending for taking cognizance. Now the learned counsel of the petitioner submitted that there are some discrepancies in weighing the jewels.

3. In view of the above, the petitioner is at liberty to file a appropriate petition before the trial Court for appropriate relief in accordance with law. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
