Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction particularly in the nature of Writ, directing the respondents to settle Petitioners surrender leave salary for 90 days in respect of the years 2010-2011, 20112012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017-2018 together with interest at the rate of 18 percentage per annum payable from the date for retirement to till the date of actual payment.

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.5960 of 2021, dated 17.03.2021, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for the respondents submitted that the orders of this Court has been complied with. Learned Counsel for the petitioner though endorsed the said submission, raised certain objection with regard to the calculation of interest for the commutation amount. Therefore, he prayed for a direction to the respondents to furnish the copy of the calculation memo arrived by them. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the respondents Corporation shall furnish a copy of the calculation memo arrived by them to the petitioner and the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same, if so advised.
