(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to expedite and conclude the enquiry proceedings initiated against the respondents 2 to 4, pursuant to the petitioner's complaint No. 147/2022, dated 04.04.2022, within a time frame. 2.

Heard Mr.S.Ramasamy, learned counsel for the petitioner. Having regard to the nature of the order proposed to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed a complaint against the respondents 2 to 4 before the 1st respondent on 04.04.2022 in Complaint No. 147/2002 and based on the same though enquiry proceedings were initiated, in which, the respondents 2 to 4 herein have also filed their written explanation, there is no progress in the said enquiry proceedings. Hence, this Writ Petition.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner either in the complaint or in the affidavit filed in support of the Writ Petition, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to conclude the enquiry proceedings initiated based on the complaint of the petitioner in Complaint No.147/2002 dated 04.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 2 to 4 and all other parties concerned. Such an exercise shall be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
