O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a Mandamus directing the respondent Police to grant permission for conducting of Kabaddi Tournament with fifty teams from 26.08.2023 to 27.08.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the respondent Police have not received any representation from the petitioner. Once there is no representation, no orders can been passed in either way.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to approach the respondent Police afresh and file application by giving all the details in respect of the hygiene, play grounds, accommodation to the players, toilets, medical facilities like ambulance, food, refreshment etc and on being satisfied only, the respondent Police are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders by keeping in view of the law and order situation prevailing in that area. No costs.
