ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent police to grant the permission to conduct the Aadal Paadal programme on 25.08.2023 from 06.00 pm to 10.00 pm in connection with Sri Perumal, Sivan, Sri Bathirakaliyamman, Sudalaimadan temples situated at Auvaiyalpuram Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) after taking instructions from the concerned police has reported that the respondent police have no objection to grant the permission to the petitioner for conducting the Aadal Paadal programme on 25.08.2023 in connection with Sri Perumal, Sivan, Sri Bathirakaliyamman, Sudalaimadan temples in Auvaiyalpuram Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2/4

3.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.08.2023 and dispose of the same by today itself granting the permission for conducting the Aadal Paadal programme to the petitioner on 25.08.2023 from 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm alone. No costs.
