O R D E R
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to issue Adangal Extract in respect of the Nanja lands comprised in Survey Nos.124/1, 124/2A1, 125/3 and 125/1 situated at Angadimangalam Bit-1 Village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District in the petitioner's name, to enable him to get the benefits of Crop Insurance, Fertilizers and also to sell his agricultural products to the Government Direct Procurement Centre (DPC), by considering his representation dated 12.07.2022.
2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent produced the order passed by the Record Officer under Tamil Nadu Agricultural Lands (Record of Tenancy Rights) Act, 1969, dated 29.06.2024, dismissing the application filed by the petitioner for recording his name as cultivating tenant in respect of the portion of the subject property. A perusal of the said order 2/4
would indicate that the claim made by the petitioner that he was cultivating tenant of the subject property was negatived by the competent authority.
3. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition and accordingly, the same is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
