ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to restore the patta Nos.999, 116, 577, 940, 941, 942, 943, 944, 945, 995, 1022, 423, 801, 812, 816, 817, 846, 814, 707, 946, 947, 948, 949, 950 and 991 in the name of petitioner's Company by considering the explanation submitted by the petitioner in his representation, dated 08.07.2025.

A perusal of the typed set of papers would indicate the second respondent herein passed an order on 04.08.2016 cancelling the assignment of land in favour of various persons in respect of the land situated in 140.67.0 hectares of land in Vaippar 1 Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Tuticorin District. Aggrieved by the said order, the present writ petitioner filed writ petitions in W.P(MD)Nos.24721 to 24750 of 2016. The said writ petition was disposed off 2/5
with a direction to the revenue officials to scrutinise all the assignments at Thoothukudi, Tirunelveli and Kanyakumari Districts and initiate appropriate actions to resume the Government lands from the violators and from the persons, who are all illegally in occupation of the Government lands by utilising the same for any other purposes other than the purpose for which it was assigned under Revenue Standing Orders.
3. In view of the order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition filed by the petitioner and issue any direction to the respondents to consider the explanation offered by them. If the petitioner is so advised, it is for them to get necessary clarification or directions from the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
