ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to issue a direction directing the 4th respondent to complete the investigation in Cr.No.29/2021 and file a final report within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.29 of 2021 and that the investigation is in progress. Hence, he seeks six 2/4

months time to file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.29 of 2021 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
