ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to dispose of the application filed by him and others before the first respondent during May 2024.

2.Heard the arguments of Ms.A.Banumathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. According to the petitioner the property with an extent of 0.0265 sq.m., in natham S.No.55/1 in Periyanendal Group Village, Paramakudi Taluk belonged to the petitioner's ancestors. The petitioner and other family members have been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the same. Therefore, the petitioner and the other family members submitted a representation before the respondent during May 2024 in application No.A3/3525/2024 seeking restoration of patta in

their name by deleting the wrong entry made during 'Natham Nilavari Thittam'. The said application has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the application filed by the petitioner will be enquired and orders will be passed in accordance with law.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner submitted during May 2024 in application No.A3/3525/2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, other persons who signed the application and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
