ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 4 (1-A), 4(1)(i) of the TNP Act, in Crime No.403 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 21.09.2022, the accused persons were found in illegal possession of 16 bottles of liquor, without valid permit. Hence, the complaint. 3.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that a false case was foisted against the petitioner. The petitioner is noway connected with the offence. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail.

4.On the side of prosecution, it is stated that petitioner is having ten previous cases of similar nature and prayed to dismiss the petition.

CRL OP(MD). No.17425 of 2022 5.Considering the nature of the case and the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
