This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to grant ordinary leave without escort for the period of 21 days to the petitioner's husband, namely, Muthukumar, S/o.Nagaraj (CP.No.1353), by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.07.2025. 2.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits

of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 28.07.2025 strictly in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of one weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
