Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court S12, To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 18 persentage per annum, for the period of delay from 01.01.2020 to 24.01.2021, in paying the amounts paid towards the terminal and pension benefits of the petitioner namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of Earned /Sick Leaves and Commutated Value of Pension, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court and without affecting his light to claim balance amounts towards those benefits and thus render justce. Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.3544 of 2021, dated 25.02.2021, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for the respondents submitted that the orders of this Court has been complied with. Learned Counsel for the petitioner though endorsed the said submission, raised certain objection with regard to the calculation of interest for the commutation amount. Therefore, he prayed for a direction to the respondents to furnish the copy of the calculation memo arrived by them. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the respondents Corporation shall furnish a copy of the calculation memo arrived by them to the petitioner and the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same, if so advised.
