Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pay interest at the rate of 18 percent per annum, for the period of delay from 01.0519 to 24.01.21, in paying the amounts paid towards my terminal benefits namely EPF Employees Contribution, Gratuity and Encashment of Earned/Sick Leaves within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court and without affecting my right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits and thus render justice.

Alleging non-compliance of the orders of this Court in W.P.(MD) No.3401 of 2021, dated 23.02.2021, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition.

Cont.P.(MD)No.1807 of 2021 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Counsel for the respondent submitted that the orders of this Court has been complied with. Learned Counsel for the petitioner though endorsed the said submission, raised certain objection with regard to the calculation of interest for the commutation amount. Therefore, he prayed for a direction to the respondent to furnish the copy of the calculation memo arrived by them. 3.In view of the aforesaid submission, this contempt petition stands closed. However, the respondent Corporation shall furnish a copy of the calculation memo arrived by them to the petitioner and the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same, if so advised.
