PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.482 of BNSS PRAYER :- To enlarge the petitioner / Accused on bail in the event of his arrest in FIR No. RC2292024A0004 of 2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent police station. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Section 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, in FIR No. RC2292024A0004 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is working as a Manager at Barath Heavy Electricals Limited, Trichy. He demanded and accepted a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- as illegal gratification from M/s.Immunavel & Co to process the bills releasing the withheld amount from the Barath Heavy Electricals Limited Account. Hence, the complaint.

3.Heard both sides.

4. Considering the nature of the allegations against the petitioner that he has demanded and received bribe from the contractor and considering the fact that there are materials against the petitioner in the form of monetary transactions in the petitioner's account and his wife's account, this is not a fit case for enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
