ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner has suffered an order of punishment at the hands of the second respondent. The second respondent is the competent authority. Questioning the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent.

3. All that the petitioner wants is disposal of the said appeal. No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the first respondent to pass order one way or other.
