ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to authorized Sooragounder as Secretary of the Tamil People Educational Trust, Trichy and permit him to register the document for sale or purchase on behalf on the said trust based on petitioner representation dated 28.08.2024 with the time stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that after the demise of the erstwhile Secretary, the petitioner has been elected as Secretary of the Trust vide resolution. He seeks a direction to the respondents to permit him to register the document on behalf of the Trust.

4. I have considered the rival submissions and perused the materials available on record.

5. At the outset, the relief sought is misconceived for the simple reason that if any change in society, Form VII has to be filed within three months from the date of such change. A notice of any change among the members of the committee shall be filed by the committee, as per Rule 7(2) of the Societies Registration Act. In such view of the matter, the petitioner shall present necessary the Form before the concerned authority within the time stipulated under the said Act.

6. The writ petition is dismissed with the above observation. No costs.
