O R D E R
This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.1, to preserve the CCTV camera's footages in respondent No.3 and 4 police stations from the date of 09.08.2022 00.00 hrs to 10.08.2022 22.00 hrs in connecting with Crime No.274 of 2022 on the file of the respondent No.3 by considering the petitioner's wife's representation, dated 10.08.2022. 2.When the matter was taken on 29.09.2022, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor was required to inform the Court about the availability of CCTV footages in the Police Station. It is informed that the CCTV footages are available in the police station and has been 2/5
preserved by the HSC.
3.Let the CCTV footages from 09.08.2022 to 10.08.2022 belongs to third and fourth respondents be preserved and copy may be taken and submitted before the concerned trial Court i.e., Special Court for NDPS Act cases, Pudukkottai, who shall in turn keep the same in their custody until further orders.
