ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired Deputy Manager of the respondent transport corporation, seeking a mandamus for disbursement of the voluntarily retirement compensation along with interest. 2.According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was permitted to go on Voluntarily Retirement Service w.e.f.30.04.2022. However, the Voluntarily Retirement Service compensation amount of Rs.25,000/- has not yet been paid to him. The petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent to the said effect on 12.10.2023, seeking Voluntarily Retirement Service compensation. Since, there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to disburse the eligible Voluntarily Retirement Service compensation amount to the petitioner along with 6% interest from the due date till the date of payment within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
