O R D E R

************* Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No. 1632 of 2021, this Contempt Petition has been filed. 2.Pursuant to the statutory notice issued by this Court, the contemnor was present before this Court. The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the contemnor submitted that the contemnor was transferred to Coimbatore and therefore, he was not aware of the notice that was received at the Madurai Branch. He further submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and a demand draft for a sum of Rs.40,001/- was also sent to the petitioner. 3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the amount that was paid by the respondent was not in terms of the policy. 4.The quantum cannot be decided in a contempt application and hence if the petitioner is aggrieved by the quantum of compensation paid, it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
