ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 20.12.2024, in Application No.2024/0103/26/267746 and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Survey Nos.557/3B2 and 577/3B1, in Puthupalayam Village, Rajapalayam Taluk, 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.J.Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathy, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.According to the petitioner, he acquired right over the subject property under a partition deed dated 27.05.1979. Inspite of several representations made by him seeking mutation of the revenue records,
the patta for the subject property has not been issued in the name of the petitioner. Therefore, he submitted an application on 20.12.2024, seeking mutation of revenue records and issuance of patta. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.
5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 20.12.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
