....Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 2nd respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Cr.No.138 of 2018 pending on the file of the 6th respondent police to any other independent agency or C.B.C.I.D. Officer under the direct supervision of the respondents 1 to 5 and further to file the final report in the said case within a reasonable time period to be fixed by this Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case.

O R D E R

This petition is filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.138 of 2018 pending on the file of the 6th respondent police to any other independent agency or C.B.C.I.D. Officer under the direct supervision of the respondents 1 to 5 and further to file the final report in the said case. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the case has been registered in Crime No.138 of 2018. After completion of investigation, the same was closed as mistake of fact on 21.06.2018 and referred charge sheet in RCS.No.5 of 2019 has also been submitted before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai. He would further submit that a copy of the referred charge sheet has also been served to the petitioner.

3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the concerned Magistrate Court on receipt of the referred charge sheet.
