The petitioner wants this Court to direct the respondent police to give her protection for her life and limb on the basis of her representation dated 25.11.2021.

2.The petitioner is the wife of the third respondent. The fourth and fifth respondents are the parents-in-law. Based on the petitioner's complaint, the second respondent had already obtained an undertaking from the parents-in-law. The petitioner has to necessarily workout her rights only by filing an appropriate petition under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.
