This criminal original petition has been filed by the accused for expediting the trial in C.C.No.238 of 2018 on the file of the Additional District Munsif Court Cum Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri. 2.The next hearing date is 04.01.2022. The case is pending for more than two years. Even an accused is entitled to speedy trial. Therefore, the learned Trial Magistrate is directed to conclude the trial on merits and in accordance with law within a period six months from 04.01.2022.
