ORDER
By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to disburse petitioners deceased wife shanmugathai medical reimbursement amount of Rs.1,04,547/- to petitioner under Health fund scheme based on the representation dated 05.01.2024.
3. The petitioner is working as Noon Meal Organizer at Government School, Pudukottai and he is a beneficiary under the health insurance scheme provided by the Government. While so, his wife has undergone treatment in the Meenakshi Mission Health and Research Centre at Madurai and he has spent considerable amount and for medical reimbursement, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents. Since the said representation was not considered, the 2/5
petitioner is before this Court.

The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the petitioner made a request under the Right to Information Act to the District Office and the Treasury Officer has sent a reply to the Special Officer and a copy has also been marked to the petitioner, in which, it is specifically sated that already District Officer recommended the case of the petitioner for sanction of the medical reimbursement and the same is pending before the United Insurance Company Limited and without impleading the said insurance company, the petitioner has filed the writ petition.
5. I have considered the rival submissions and perused the materials available on record.
6. Though it is stated that the petitioner is a beneficiary under the medical insurance scheme, the petitioner's case was rightly recommended by the department and the reimbursement is pending with the United Insurance Company and the petitioner has not impleaded the said United 3/5
Insurance Company. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
