O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to survey the property of the petitioner situated in Survey No. 261/6A, in Musuvanoothu Village, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioner's application No.2025/0123/13/012209, dated 14.05.2025.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Madhankumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, the subject property was settled by his mother under a settlement deed dated 18.02.2025 and patta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner in patta No.4347. He submitted an application dated 14.05.2025 in application No. 2025/0123/13/012209, seeking survey of the subject property and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 14.05.2025 in application No. 2025/0123/13/012209 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
