PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to issue legal heirs certificate of the deceased Rajathi wife of Late Sundaraman died on 16.12.2021.

ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to issue legal heirs certificate of the deceased Rajathi wife of Late Sundaraman died on 16.12.2021.
2.Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.The sister of the second petitioner's father died on 16.12.2021. The said Rajathi was working as Grade-I Administrative Officer (Sub Collector). The husband of the Rajathi died earlier and she had no issues. Therefore, the petitioners, as class-II legal heirs had applied for legal heirs certificate. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents would submit the verification on the application of the petitioners is under process and the same will be considered and necessary orders will be passed shortly.

5.In view of the above, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the authorities concerned to consider the application of the petitioner on its own merits and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
