ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif, Dindigul, to dispose of the suit in 1/4
O.S.No.761 of 2015 within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. The petitioner herein is the defendant in O.S.No.761 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif, Dindigul. The respondent herein has filed the said suit for specific performance.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though the said suit was filed in the year 2015, the same is still pending. He further submits that in the said suit, trial has also commenced and trial proceedings went upto the cross examination of D.W.1 and the case was posted for further cross of D.W.1 on 08.07.2022, but, it was subsequently adjourned. Since the petitioner is now aged about 87 years old, he seeks for a direction to the trial Court for early disposal of O.S.No.761 of 2015.
4. Considering that the suit is of the year 2015 and also considering the age of the petitioner, this Court directs the learned 2/4
Principal District Munsif, Dindigul, to conclude the trial and dispose of the suit in O.S.No.761 of 2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
