ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to rectify the father's name in the birth certificate of petitioner's son as Manikandan instead of Mari Murugan by considering her representation dated 09.06.2025.

2. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that the second respondent will hold an enquiry pursuant to the representation dated 09.06.2025 and take suitable steps.

3. Recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of by directing the second respondent to hold an enquiry and pass appropriate order on the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
