ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner was removed from service by the second respondent. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the standing committee. The standing committee of Madurai Corporation also rejected the appeal. Questioning the same, the petitioner filed review petition before the Government.

3. The first respondent has sent a communication dated 22.06.2021 calling upon the second respondent to furnish certain particulars.

4. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that till date, the matter is still pending.

5. The Deputy Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, Secretariat, Chennai is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the Government to pass order one way or other.
