ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a direction to the respondent No.4 to make necessary corrections in the FIR in Crime No.385 of 2021.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's mother, by name, Kalaivani a construction worker registered under Tamil Nadu Construction Workmen Welfare Board died on 24.09.2021 on account of snake bite. On 05.08.2022 the petitioner has filed an application before the respondent No.2 for grant of compensation, however, in the FIR, the deceased was shown as agricultural labour and therefore, the application could not be processed and is pending. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's mother was a construction worker since 2017 and he has filed a copy of the 2/5

Identity Card to show that she was the construction worker and sought for suitable corrections in the FIR.

3.Since the petitioner's mother was stated to be a construction worker, the respondent police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and the Identity Card given to the petitioner's mother and dispose of the same within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above directions, this Petition is disposed of.
