ORDER

The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.841 of 2024. He has filed this petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to conclude the investigation and file the final report within a stipulated time. 1/4

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that the investigation in Crime No.841 of 2024 was completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai, through e-filing in No.C202500250 on 04.04.2025.

3. In view of the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Mere filing of the final report through e-filing is not sufficient. The respondent Police shall ensure that the final report is taken on file within a reasonable time. It is not only the responsibility of the respondent Police, the trial Court is also expected to take the final report on file, without any delay.
