Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

2. The petitioner's husband is presently confined in Central Prison, Trichy. He is having number of criminal cases to his credit. He is implicated not only in murder cases but also in case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The petitioner's husband suffered a fracture in both the legs. He is therefore in need of specialised treatment. The petitioner has given a representation for directing the respondents to provide adequate medical treatment. Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19072 of 2021 Therefore, the second respondent is directed to shift the petitioner's husband to the Convict Ward in Government Hospital, Trichy. So that, the petitioner's husband can receive appropriate Ortho treatment. This Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
